About Me
Shiloh Hoffman
BS, MBA, ENA
Certified Equine Nutrition Advisor
Independent Equine Nutrition Specialist
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your horse’s nutrition, unsure what to feed, or tired of conflicting advice—you’re not alone.
I help horse owners create clear, balanced feeding programs that support long-term health performance and overall well-being.
As an independent specialist, I am not affiliated with any feed or supplement companies—so my recommendations are always based on what is best for your horse.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science and a master’s degree, and I am certified through Legacy Equine Nutrition under Dr. Rachel Mottet. I have also completed advanced nutrition coursework with Dr. Eleanor Kellon. Additionally, I am a member of the Equine Science Society and the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition—meaning all of my recommendations are backed by up-to-date research and science.
My background includes several years working as an equine veterinary intern alongside a board-certified equine veterinarian, and I regularly collaborate with veterinarians to support each horse’s individual needs.
I have been around horses all of my entire life, working with a range of breeds—from Paso Finos to Warmbloods. I’ve competed in disciplines including barrel racing, western horsemanship, reining, equitation, dressage, hunters and jumpers.
Today, I compete on the USEF A circuit in the hunters with my personal horses.
My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and supported in your horse’s nutrition—without the confusion or guesswork.
“Shiloh is a fantastic nutrition advisor and is extremely dedicated to helping horse owners. I know her as her professor from the Legacy Program [Legacy Equine Nutrition] and she has taken something she’s extremely passionate about and is now helping many horses as a result. Her passion is evident and she’s one you can trust! I highly recommend SH Equine Wellness & Performance.”
